A tour of the cottage

There is plenty of space at this pretty Victorian cottage, with many features including a private lounge with an open fire for guests. A long cottage garden has many different areas to eat and relax in providing privacy and quiet away from your travels or work stress.

The large King room is directly next to the bathroom. There is also the most comfortable sofa bed in the lounge which becomes a private bedroom with is made up as a small double; this is suitable for either one adult or a child (over the age of 10).

Your  privacy is respected but your host is happy to interact and share a glass of wine!

If you require two King rooms and accommodation for 2 couples then this, on occasion, can be arranged.

Evening meals can be arranged by prior arrangement.

This is a no smoking house but smoking in the garden is not a problem.

Check in: 3.00 pm however if you are attending a wedding or need to change and the room is free, reasonable earlier check in times may be accommodated. If you need a very early check in there may be a small fee to accommodate the fact that the room cannot be let the previous night.

Check out: 10.00 am if you have been somewhere fab and need an extra lie in just ask but please don’t take advantage (someone once didn’t leave until 6.00 pm!)

To keep prices reasonable we do not provide dressing gowns or slippers, you may wish to bring your own!
